Suddenly getting InvalidProgramException

I am suddenly getting an "InvalidProgramException" when launching my Xamarin Forms iOS project when it hits the line "Abstrations.Init()" in AppDelegate.cs. This was working fine up until now.

The only thing I can think of that's changed is my iOS Development certificate expired and I made a new one. But the app name and Bundle ID is unchanged.

I tried the Android version and that runs fine. So it seems to be just an iOS issue.

Please help, thanks!

Hello Phil,

Thanks for reaching us out. The issue you decribe seems more like an environment issue. Try cleaning everything (bin and obj folders), uninstall the app from device/emulator, make sure you are using the new certificate in iOS project options and restart visual studio. If this keeps giving you issues you can get rid of Abstractions.Init() call, since native renderers are only needed if you are using eliteVideo and/or eliteAudio.

Hope this helps!
